Our eighth podcast features Miranda O'Bryan. Miranda is a senior double major in journalism and history, and her honors independent study was creating a documentary on the Day in the Life of Freeman project from 26 years ago. Miranda talked to students in the original publication, which featured photos by SDSU journalism students documenting the small town of Freeman, South Dakota on April 20, 1994. Journalism students revisited freeman last spring on the 25th anniversary to do another day in the life project.

Our seventh podcast features Madison Van Walleghen. Madison is a first year graduate student in the communication and media studies program and is also a graduate teaching assistant. Her hobbies include golf and softball. She hopes to work in media relations for major league baseball when she graduates. Mccade and Bea talked with Madison last fall.

Dave has experience as a photojournalist for the Brookings Register and as digital media producer for KDLT-TV. He now works as a freelance photographer specializing in sports. Dave has photographed many SDSU sporting events and often talks to our journalism classes about his experience.
