Ginger Thomson

Our guest for this episode is COJO instructor Ginger Thomson. Ginger has worked as a news anchor and reporter for KELO-TV, on-camera talent and producer for South Dakota Public Broadcasting and as co-owner/producer for TV Productions, Inc. In addition to her SDSU teaching role, she is the producer of "On Call with the Prairie Doc," owner of a website development company, and inventor of "The Doorhickey."

Carter Schmidt

This episode features COJO journalism student Carter Schmidt, who also works as the news director at the campus radio station KSDJ and at KELO-TV as a part-time reporter.  Carter shares how his co-curricular activities in COJO have helped prepare him for a career in journalism after graduation this spring.

Steve Erpenbach

Our last episode of the fall semester features Steve Erpenbach, president and CEO of the SDSU Foundation and an alum of the school, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in journalism in 1985.  Student host Sam Schauer was able to talk with Steve before the Thanksgiving break.

Coffee with COJO will be on hiatus until the beginning of the spring semester in January.

Instructor Jade Larson

This week, our guest is COJO instructor Jade Larson.  Jade joins the faculty after completing her Masters degree in Communication and Media Studies last Spring.  Student host Sam Schauer was a student in Jade's public speaking section when she was a graduate student. They spoke last week.

John Mollison

This week, our guest is 1987 journalism alum John Mollison.  John is the host of "Old Guys and their AirPlanes," an award-winning video series that has been broadcast on PBS.  He is also a writer and artist known for his work recreating images of military aircraft.  John spoke with student host Sam Schauer earlier this week.

Keith Jensen

This week student host Sam Shower interviews @Jacks1Fan Keith Jensen.  Keith graduated from SDSU in 1956 with a degree in journalism, and was the first full time director of the SDSU Alumni Association and was also the former director of the South Dakota Newspaper Association. Keith spoke with Sam about his experiences at SDSU and his 49 Hobo Days.
